You can do enough damage with a fully loaded LMG. If your resources are low to average (under 100) and you can't get armor/jetpack/heavy machine gun/whatnot, odds are the Commander has better things planned for it. Odds are they will move again once reloaded and healed. Follow some teammates and look what they are doing. They may be small, but even a single skulk can chomp up a marine that is foolish enough to wander off alone.

If you need some too, request some through the menu and more than usually the commander will drop some for you too. Picking up to fill up 10 HP while someone else is critical can be a real joykiller. If someone requests health and it gets dropped, don't rush towards it unless you REALLY need it or there is some spare. Aliens are EVERYWHERE and with 3 marines having their backs turned, they are easy picking for a pack of Skulks. When you are at a virgin point and new buildings are getting set up, look what the other players are doing. You will be amazed how often those few extra bullets save your life. And spend a few extra moments loading up the pistol as well. Don't forget to load up on ammo before leaving the base, the 100 standard LMG (Light Machine Gun) bullets really aren't a lot. Thank him/her for this, it's nice to feel appreciated, both as a marine and as a Commander. If the Commander does something for you, don't rush off. Follow his/her orders and you will see a lot more action. Odds are the Commander is an experienced player and knows what to do. Don't let it get to you if you get creamed at first. It's a game, a computer game, a lot of people come online to play it to pass the time or to have fun. Swearing at them just gives them what they want: attention. The odds are that if an admin was around, he/she prolly would have done something about the individual already. If they do ruin a game either make a request for an admin or try and find another server. There were, are and always will be cheaters/spammers/whatnot. There IS, however, usually someone around that will be willing to help you. There will always be nasty people who will call you a n00b or whatnot. Don't be affraid to ask teammates what to do. They may not be winning, but its not going to be fun if one side has way more players than the other. It will only result in people muting you and they wont be able to hear what you say when it really IS important. I know sometimes it can be a long wait, especially as a Gorge, but don't spam it too much. Feel free to compliment someone if they did something nice, like kill you in a spectacular way or defend an area nicely. It's very very annoying if someone starts swearing. OK! Let me start off by saying a lot of this will prolly already have been said in previous posts, but let me make my own list anyway!
